Understanding Defects raised via the Call Out Book
Defects raised by tech via Call Out Book will not be linked to an Inspection Prompt, this is because the defect is not raised during the completion of a Routine Activity.
The defect will show on the mobile device as an Outstanding Defect to be checked.
Defects raised will not appear on a Routine Activity report as an outstanding defect. As the defect is linked to the Asset, the defect will show on the device for the Technician to review. The technician can close the original defect, re-fail the asset and record the defect against the required Inspection Prompt.
Reports that display defects raised via the Call Out Book
Where the Defect is not linked to an Inspection Prompt, the defect will show on the following reports.
- Property Activity report
- System Condition report
- Annual Maintenance report
Defects raised will display in the Defect Summary Tile located on the FireMate desktop dashboard and in [Workflow] -> "Open Defects" section -> [Defects Ready to be Processed]
