Marking activities as 'Can't Complete' on FireMate Mobile

Understanding 'Can't Complete' status

The 'Can't Complete' status offers a way to keep track of the reason(s) why an activity could not be completed on a property.   

Typically, the 'Can't Complete' status is used when there is no ability to complete the activity. In marking the activity as 'Can't Complete', the activity will display on the desktop for FireMate administrators, flagging it for their attention.

Using 'Can't Complete' on Routine Activities

The 'Can't Complete' status is not accessible where "Combine and Test" has been selected. It is accessible when selecting one activity at a time. 

  1. From My Workload, select the Routine Activity you would like to mark as 'Can't Complete'
  2. Select [Routine Activity Details] 
  3. At the bottom of the screen, add a note to the 'Internal Comments' section
    1. Enter the reason this activity is being marked as 'Not Complete'. This will be seen by FireMate administrators in the office, and allow for fast review of the reasons why the activity was not completed.  
  4. Select [Can't Complete]
  5. Select [Save Routine Activity]

Where you select [Save and Sync], the activity will be removed from the device and sent back to the office.

Using 'Can't Complete' on Service Requests/Jobs

  1. From My Workload, select the Service Request you would like to mark as 'Can't Complete'
  2. Select [SR Details]
     
    1. At the bottom of the screen, add a note to the 'Action Taken' section
      1. Enter the reason this activity is being marked as 'Not Complete'. This will be seen by FireMate administrators in the office, and allow for fast review of the reasons why the activity was not completed.  
    2. Select [Can't Complete]
    3. Select [Save Service Request]

    Where you select [Save and Sync], the activity will be removed from the device and sent back to the office.
