Understanding Permissions
Set specific levels of access for each FireMate user within the "Employees and Logins" screen to ensure each user has access to all the functions they need within FireMate.
The System Access module is for Desktop Users and the access on the left-hand side under the Password is for Mobile Devices.
When you create an Employee, you will need to decide what System Access they require on the Desktop and on the Mobile device. Different users will require different access.
Desktop System Access
- Create the New Employee & Login
- Select the [Login] tab
- Select Enable Desktop Login, this gives the employee access to the Desktop.

Select the checkboxes in the System Access area to give access to your user and de-select the check box to remove access

CreateQuotes | Allows creation of Quote from "New" menu, from "Create Quote" button on a Property | Removes access to the "Quote" option in the "New" menu and removes the "Create Quote" button on a Property |
Customer Portal | Gives access to the Portal menu | Removes access to the Portal menu |
Labour Cost Rates | Gives access to the Labour Cost Rates | Hides Labour Cost Rates |
Management Reporting | Gives access to Management Reporting tiles in Customise Dashboard | Removes Management Reporting tiles in Customise Dashboard |

Mobile Device Access
- Create the New Employee & Login
- Select the [Login] tab
- Select Enable Mobile Login, this gives the employee access to the Mobile Device
- Select the checkboxes in the left-hand area to give access to your user and de-select the check box to remove access
